“Be Positive – Be Progressive” Take the time to make a difference in someone’s life
We are Christian members who have vowed to make a difference in someone’s life by working wherever we can or whenever we can to help others.
The Club was established simultaneously with the church in 1925. Our initial purpose was to raise funds for the upkeep of the Church. We did so by selling dinners and sponsoring other fundraising events. However, under the leadership of our Pastor, Rev. Dr. H. Joseph Franklin, Sr., we have become a tithing church and selling dinners and fundraising activities are no longer necessary.
Today, you will find our members working hard in every capacity in this church. We sponsor at least two non-profit trips per year – a shopping trip in March and a trip to York Fair in Pennsylvania in September – so that our families and friends can fellowship together. We share our Anniversary Celebration with the Willing Workers in March.
We are welcoming new members who would like to join us in helping others. Our meetings are held every other Saturday from11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Church. Our dues are only $2.00 per month.
We are asking that seasoned church members, as well as new members, please prayerfully consider joining us in helping to make a difference in someone’s life.
